Hi, I'm Nadzrin, a Learning & Performance Specialist from Malaysia.

I love Silat Melayu. As a Pesilat I started studying from age 8 and almost 40 years just bathing in the Melayu Culture. I ran Silat Melayu: The Blog and deliver Melayu culture-related topics like Silat Melayu, Keris Melayu, Senaman Melayu, Petua Melayu etc to various tourist guide associations in Malaysia, the Museum Volunteers Malaysia and the Malaysian Culture Group.

As journalist and editor, I spent 7 years of my life being part of the world's most awesome martial arts magazine (at least I think so), SENI BELADIRI. It has now gone fully digital and you can subscribe online.

In my past life as a journalist, knowledge management consultant, public relations officer and marketer, I have celebrated the perfumery of the written word.

It started when my late father gifted me his portable typewriter. I loved that thing to bits. I used to write short stories galore.

As an adult at my peak, I ran 33 blogs centred around Melayu Culture. A madness I overcame several years later by practicing burnout.

Then, I offered my WordSmith freelance services as a writer, translator and editor publicly. Now, I teach people how to write creative copy for marketing, business communications and operating procedures.

I have also written several ebooks you can download for free.

I will be publishing a few books in 2025 so look out for those soon.
